Gomez Comes Alive! will DJ at this year's Anti-Mall. Go check out some great music and support "People b4 Profit".

A couple of members of Monte Carlo 76 like to blog about music as well as play it. Many of you are probably familiar with Gomez Comes Alive's Los Angeles Me blog, but you can see other stuff that he's interested in at his Tumblr blog.

Jeremy blogs too, at both his main blog and also a Posterous blog, mostly about improvised and contemporary classical music, as well as a little about music technology.

 

Monte Carlo 76 will be playing at the reception for the Homeboy Industries benefit on Friday December 11. This is an art show, with the proceeds benefiting Homeboy Industries. See our calendar page for more details.

Monte Carlo 76 member Gomez Comes Alive! will be spinning at Anda! this Saturday October 3rd. Anda! is "a Monthly pachanga bringing you classic Cumbia, Salsa, Brazilian, Latin House, Afrobeat and everything else Worldbeat" here in the Los Angeles area.

We're loaning out Marisa to perform with Maya Jupiter at the West LA Summer Concert Series. It's free, what else is there to do on Wednesday???

MC76 will be playing at East Side Luv on Thursday, 9/24. Come see us with our newest member, Ableton. Alex Painter will be joining us on bass as well!

This Saturday at 10 PM we will be featured on Travel Tips for Aztlan. Listen on the radio or streaming online.

Monte Carlo 76 will be having a listening party for our new album, Marisela, on Feb. 21st @ Teocintli in Boyle Heights. After listening to the new album we will have spoken word performances on the subjects of love, the night and gentrification (the title of one of the songs on the album).
